Being acknowledged for our dedication, innovation, and impact in the food industry is an incredible milestone, and we couldn’t have achieved it without the support of our fantastic customers, chefs, friends, family, and fellow food lovers who continue to believe in what we do.
A Night to Remember
Attending the 2025 Business Growth Awards Wales was a truly special experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric—a true celebration of entrepreneurship, passion, and perseverance. Meeting so many inspiring business owners and hearing their stories was both humbling and motivating. The sheer talent and innovation in the room was remarkable, and we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to every finalist and winner on the night.
Wales is home to an incredible business community, and we are honoured to be part of such a driven and passionate network.
A special thank you to the judges for recognising our work and the journey we’ve been on. We deeply appreciate the time, effort, and dedication that went into evaluating businesses across Wales, and we are incredibly grateful for this recognition. Their belief in what we do only strengthens our determination to keep pushing boundaries and striving for excellence.
From a Tiny Seed to an Award-Winning Business
Steve Holland, co-founder of Fresh & Tasty Microgreens, expressed his gratitude at the ceremony and dedicated the award to his late father:
“This award is an incredible honour for us. We started with a simple vision—to grow the freshest, highest-quality produce while staying true to our values of sustainability and innovation. To be recognised on a National level once again for our journey so far is incredibly motivating. But this award holds even greater significance for me personally, which is why I dedicated it to my dad who we tragically lost following an accident in October. He was my biggest supporter, and everything we achieve is a reflection of the values he instilled in me.
I grew up in a traditional farming environment, but my dad had over 30 years of experience in hydroponics, his knowledge and passion for innovative growing techniques has been a huge influence on me. His legacy lives on in every tray of microgreens we sow. This is for him. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!”
What’s Next?
Winning ‘Rising Star’ has only strengthened our ambition to grow, innovate, and elevate the microgreens industry. While we can’t share everything just yet, we can promise exciting developments on the horizon.

An expansion that will allow us to push boundaries even further.
